Wilma D. Allen, age 84, died November 4, 2016 at Birmingham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2016, at Sunset Funeral Home with Bro. Justin Carrier officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Johnson (Steve); sons, Jerry Carrier (Patsy), Johnny Carrier (Marlene), Jack Carrier (Mary); sister, Kay Byrd (O'Neal); nine grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Wilma owned her own cleaning service for years in Tuscaloosa. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is now resting in her savior's arms and will be missed by all who knew her. Pallbearers will be Johnathon Carrier, Joshua Carrier, Randy Byrd and Buddy Smith.
