Yvonne Jean Stanin

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Frank Armbruster and Theresa Virginia Armbruster of Wheeling, West Virginia and her husband, Anthony “Tony” Stanin.

Survivors include her children, Doniece Lynn Schlick-Dorton (Raymond “Butch”), Susan Lee (Allen), Donald Schlick Jr., Terry Strand (Walt), and Toni Stanin; grandchildren, Ashley Payne Simpson (Doug), Jessica Lee Norton (William), Christopher Lee, Heather Schlick Falls (Isaac), Adrian Strand, Christine Strand, Misty Richardson, and Marc Richardson (Megan); great grandchildren, Madison Simpson, Parker Simpson, William Falls, Oliver Norton, Cade Richardson, Conner Richardson, Camden Richardson and Cooper Richardson.

She was born on August 14, 1934, in Wheeling, West Virginia and graduated from Wheeling High School in 1951. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Administration in Accounting. She worked as a CPA for the State of Alabama, Department of Revenue.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She filled her life with family and grandchildren. She loved playing bridge and was a member of the Contract Bridge League. She loved dancing and was a member of the Tuscaloosa Square Dance Club. She never met a stranger and was described as welcoming, outgoing and kind by everyone who knew her. She is loved and will be missed by all.
