Alexandra Roma Apostolou Turley

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alexandra Apostolou Roma Turley. Alex was surrounded by loved ones when she passed on Monday, February 27, 2023, after a brief and hard-fought battle. In a final act of love, Alex became the hero to five organ recipients whose prayers were answered.

Alexandra graduated from St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox School in 2017. Her family is deeply intertwined with Louisville High School, class of '21 and Crespi High School. She is survived by her parents, Cathy and Patrick Turley (Crespi ’86), her sister, Sophia Turley ’25, in addition to her aunt, Martine Turley ’88, her uncles Tom Turley (Crespi ’83) and Matthew Turley (Crespi ’84), her maternal grandfather, John, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services honoring Alexandra’s life will be held Friday, March 3, at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (9501 Balboa Blvd., Northridge, CA 91325). The viewing will take place from 10-11am, with the funeral immediately following. The burial will take place at 2:30pm at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park (10621 Victory Blvd North Hollywood, CA 91606).

This has been such a difficult moment for us as a community and a school. Please hold the Turley family in love and prayer.

Eternal rest grant unto Alexandra, oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
