Amber Dawn Hill

Amber Dawn Hill died unexpectedly on February 11, 2018 at the age of 27, when her father’s

Cirrus VK-30 went down in the hills near Santa Clarita, California, along with her daughter

Madison Hastings-Saxelby, her husband Jacob Hill, and her father Thomas Hastings. Amber is

survived by her mother Joyce Hastings, and brother Jake Hastings.

Amber was born March 23rd, 1990 in Northridge, California. She graduated from Options for

Youth High School in 2008, earned her licensed vocational nurse certificate at American Career

College, obtained her esthetician license at Marinello Beauty College, and recently began her

established her own business, Lashes by Amber.

She had a daughter, Madison Jae Hastings-Saxelby on September 27, 2008. She married

Jacob Hill on July 25th, 2015. Amber found her passion in being an

Eyelash Extension Artist and highly enjoyed working with her clients, but her greatest

joy was found in her family life with Madi and Jacob.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St.Joseph the

Worker Catholic Church, 19851 Sherman Way, Winnetka, CA 91306 (Facing Sherman Way

between Winnetka Ave. and Corbin Ave). All are welcome to attend and celebrate Amber’s life.

Reception following the ceremony, location to be announced at the service.
