

Angelo Hroundas, born on April 30, 1943, in Silimna, Greece, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, in Burbank, California. He leaves behind a life distinguished by dedication, masterful craftsmanship, deep faith, and an enduring love for family, culture, and heritage.
Angelo was a highly skilled and respected machinist whose expertise contributed to the development of the legendary SR-71 Blackbird aircraft during his career at Lockheed Martin—an achievement of which he was profoundly proud. Known for his strong work ethic, precision, and attention to detail, Angelo exemplified excellence in his profession. In addition to his engineering career, he was a successful entrepreneur with ventures in the restaurant and real estate industries, where his perseverance, integrity, and business acumen were widely admired.
A proud Greek, Angelo was a devoted supporter of several Greek communities and Greek Orthodox churches. He deeply cherished his culture and traditions and found great joy in attending Greek festivals, where fellowship, music, and heritage came together. Greek music held a special place in his heart and served as a constant connection to his roots. His faith and heritage were central to his identity and guided the way he lived his life.
Angelo is survived by his beloved spouse of 45 years, Joanna; his brother, George; his sisters, Despoina and Maria; along with his loving nephews, nieces, cousins, and other close family members who will forever cherish his memory. He was a devoted husband, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend whose quiet strength, generosity, and wisdom touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Interment will follow the Funeral Service at Eternal Valley Memorial Park & Mortuary 23287 North Sierra Highway, Newhall, CA 91321
