With profound sadness, we share the passing of a cherished husband, devoted father of three, proud grandfather of seven, and great‑grandfather of one. A man known for his generous heart and unwavering love for his family, he will live on in our memories, our stories, and our dreams.
He cared for his beloved wife with extraordinary devotion, compassion, and quiet strength—an example of love in its truest form. His sense of humor was a gift to all who knew him. Whether with a quick one‑liner, a well-timed joke, or a gentle tease meant to make someone smile, he brought light and laughter wherever he went.
He honorably served in the Indian Navy as a gun instructor for 20 years, from 1955 to 1975. After immigrating to the United States in 1980, he began a long and dedicated career with The Sood Enterprise, where he worked faithfully for nearly four decades. He was hardworking, loyal, and deeply committed to every role he took on.
He is survived by his loving family: his wife Shashi; his son Rakesh and daughter-in-law Archana; his daughters Rakhi and son-in-law John, and Rekha and son-in-law Vishal; his grandchildren Kiran and her spouse Joel, Shivi, Courtney, Megan, Anjali, Sophie, and Simone; and his great-granddaughter Maya.
He leaves behind a legacy rich with love, laughter, humility, and kindness—qualities that will continue to inspire and comfort all who were fortunate enough to know him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will forever bring warmth and smiles to the hearts of his family and friends.
