Helena Gahala, age 98 passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024. Helena was born in Voiteg, Romania.

Helena is survived by her daughter Eveline A. Sykora (Joe); and her daughter Marlene Ybarra (Ernesto); 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

A funeral service for Helena will be held Friday, April 12, at 12:30 PM at Mission San Fernando Rey de España, 15151 San Fernando Mission Blvd, Los Angeles, California 91345. Following the funeral service will be a committal at San Fernando Mission Catholic Cemetery, 11160 Stranwood Ave., Mission Hills, California 91345.
