I met John in 1966 at Blue Cross of So. Calif. After I left that position, I stayed in touch with Marie
and John and ended up being in their wedding. We always had a lot of laughs through out the
years. I fondly remember John saying he was "Going to Skirt the Town" when we were all
in Mexico on vacation. There was never a dull moment when John was around.

Good memories of a great guy John will be missed.

I have fond memories of John back in our BCBS of Southern California days. He was well-respected. Always pleasant. In later years, Don and I got to spend some time with him and Marie. Always had kind words and a sense of humor. He will be missed by many.

John was my first Supervisor at Allstate Insurance Company, in the summer of 1962. We became good friends and remained so the rest of his life. I remember the births of three of his children. I stood up with he and his brother (Sid or Cliff) at his wedding to Marie in 1972. He paved the way for me to join Blue Cross and I encouraged him to come with me to Health Net. We had great times and great stories together. Even after his terrible stroke, we laughed about the old days. John never missed an Annual Meeting. I would stand at the podium and introduce the topics....John would watch with pride, knowing the beginnings. He was a great friend and the kind of a pal anybody would want. I already miss him, with very misty eyes.....

Good bye old buddy....
