Luis lived his entire life in the San Fernando Valley and worked as a roll off truck driver with Waste Management for over 40 years.
Two words that best describe Luis' life and legacy are "family" and "faith". The amount of love he had for his family was immeasurable. The only thing above his love of family was our dad's love and faith in the Lord. He spent countless hours reading his Bible and sharing the gospel.
In his retirement, Luis took up walking, which he stopped when it became a bit too much, maintaining his plants and fruit trees, recycling, and music. Our dad played the guitar, requinto, and mandolin. A big part of Luis' life was the "Suenos de Oro" musical group he joined under the direction of Violeta Quintero, who is also a longtime family friend.
Luis is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rosario "Rosie", children Louis (Roxana), Antoinette "Toni", Letizia "Letty", Salomon "Sal" and Abel; sisters Teresa "Terry" and Agustina "Linda"; many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.
