Marilyn is survived by her brothers, Jack, Carey and Terry Campbell; her sisters, Cheryl Reed and Diane Sonnenberg; her sisters-in-law, Karen and Vicky Campbell; her six nieces and five nephews.
Marilyn was very close to our mom. They bowled together, played bingo, and just enjoyed each-other's company. They both took care of each-other.
She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. They went to the movies and played games together.
Marilyn graduated from San Jose State with a degree in Business.
She spent most of her adult life volunteering at Northridge Hospital supporting the elderly patients.
In addition to reading books about history, she enjoyed search-a-word puzzles. She also loved to go shopping. Her favorite stores were Dollar Tree, Big Lots, Trader Joe's and 99 Cent Store.
Marilyn blessed many lives with her kind heart and loving spirit. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. May she Rest in Peace.
A visitation for Marilyn will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bastian and Perrott, Oswald Mortuary, 18728 Parthenia Street, Northridge, California 91324. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. John Eudes Church, 9901 Mason Ave., Chatsworth, California 91311. A committal service will occur Thursday, July 7, 2022 at San Fernando Mission Cemetery, 11160 Stranwood Ave., Mission Hills, California 91345.
