OBITUARY

Paul Anthony Braun

March 29, 1956November 24, 2019

Paul Anthony Braun of Simi Valley was finally able to break the bondage of illness and ascend to our heavenly father on the 24th of November 2019. Paul was raised in Northridge California where he attended St. Catherine of Siena in Reseda and Chaminade. During these formative years, Paul shined as an inquisitive, creative, and highly intelligent young man. These intellectual characteristics naturally led Paul to find a love for computers. This love, along with the support of his parents, guided him to graduate from Cal State Northridge with a bachelor’s in computer sciences and further culminated in a 29-year career in computing. Paul was far from all about work and was well known in his family for his quirky sense of humor. From a Lizzy Borden Doll given to a young niece, to a bust of Jesus that followed your every move, he had a knack for personalizing his humor. In his down time, Paul would indulge in sci-fi and spend time with his menagerie of pets. Paul was met in heaven by his father Paul Aloysius Braun, and sister Therese (Trace) Walker. Paul leaves behind his mother Genevieve Braun, his brother in law Dave Walker, nephew Josh Walker and family, and Niece Melissa Monroy and family. Services for Paul Braun will be held at St Catherine of Siena in Reseda on December 7th 2019 at 1130 am.

Paul was more then a friend to me. He was my father. My brother and I didn't exactly have the best of childhood and Paul as our neighbor took notice to that and stepped up when no one else would. From the time I was 7 years old till present he was my father. Teaching me the value of a dollar, despite what everyone else though. He showed me the value of knowledge and hard work. He taught me kindness and how to help others in need as he did for my brother and I. Paul was my childhood and a good portion of my young adult life. So so so many memories. There will forever be a huge hole in my heart that will not soon heal. I'm am happy he finally found what he was searching for. Heaven and Earth will be forever changed by your life here and you're addition to heavin once again. Rest easy dad I love you. I'll see you on the other side. To Paul's family I pray for peace and comfort during this time. I wish I could get in touch to express my gratitude.
