He was a man of deep and unwavering faith, whose love for God guided every step of his life. Not a single day passed without him speaking the Lord’s name, carrying his devotion in both word and action. Each night, he ended his day in prayer, and every morning began with the gentle glow of a candle lit in honor of Jesus. His faith was not just a belief, but a way of life—steady, humble, and inspiring to all who knew him.
Peter was born to a devoted mother, a refugee from Smyrna, and a father who had immigrated to the United States and later brought his family over when Peter was eight years old. He shared an especially close bond with his mother, whom he deeply loved and remembered every day of his life.
He pursued his education in engineering and began his life in Massachusetts before eventually settling in California. After establishing himself, he brought his parents to California so they could be away from the harsh East Coast weather. There, he built a successful life as an entrepreneur and businessman, working in the automobile industry owning restaurants, and later becoming a commercial real estate broker.
Peter was a man full of warmth, humor, and generosity. He had an incredible sense of humor and carried a joyful, childlike spirit throughout his life. He valued friends and friendships, often considering them family and brothers. He loved children dearly and supported them through donations to children’s hospitals. Above all, he cherished his family, especially his son, Michael.
Twenty years ago, Peter met the love of his life, Agapi. They were married at St. Sophia and built a beautiful life together. He became a devoted and loving stepfather to her children and, in recent years, a proud and wonderful grandfather.
Peter is survived by his beloved wife, Agapi; his son, Michael and his wife Kelsie; his stepchildren, Kyriakos, Spuridoula, and Vasileios; and his grandchildren, Agapi, Niko, and Ari-Panagiotis.
He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, laughter, and the love he gave so freely to those around him.
