Robert "Bob" Moering passed away on March 7th at the age of 82. He moved from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Los Angeles in 1958.

He was unique and notorious. One of the great "record" men in the music industry where he spent years working for CBS and WEA. A man of integrity and dedication, he was known to many as "Mr. Wonderful."

He retired to Camden, Maine in 2003. He is survived by his wife, Barbara and his two children, son, Christopher, (his wife Loida) and his daughter, Lisa.

In lieu of flowers; please make donations in his name to St. Jude Hospital or the American Cancer Society.

I first met Bob when I was Program and Music Director at KGIL in Los Angeles and Bob represented Columbia Records, then WEA.
Of all the many times we were together at performances and conventions, I'd have to say that the most enjoyable for my wife and me were the many times he stopped by our home, usually with a bottle of wine he wanted to share. Our conversations always included a few humorous verbal jabs and too many laughs to count.

Bob was our neighbor in Camden, Maine these past four years. He was a spirited and happy man and always made my children feel important and seen. He was overjoyed when they would go visit him and bring him cookies or banana bread. We were all saddened to learn of Bob’s passing tonight and hope his family can cherish the good memories they shared. He brought us moments of joy as a family and he will be missed in Maine. Peace be with you all.
