A MESSAGE FROM THE FAMILY
On January 31st, Heaven called one of their angels home. Rosie’s loved ones miss her deeply, but we have found comfort that she is watching over her 4 children, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and all of the people who’s lives she touched. Everyone who knew her, knew she had a big heart and made it her life mission to help those in need. Close to Rosie’s heart was helping the Food Bank at St Joesph the Worker Catholic Church. Her grandchildren all have memories of helping her pass out food when they would spend time with her. In Rosie’s memory, the family asks that any donations be made to St Vincent de Paul Society Food Bank. Due to COVID-19 a small service will be held at the end of March. We hope to have a Celebration of Life later in the year to honor and remember Rosemary with all those that she loved and loved her. Donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society On March 27, 2010, there will be a bin at the entrance of the Pavilion where donations of non-perishable food can be placed. The Pavilion is at the east end of the parking lot. The bin will be emptied after the Funeral Mass for Rosie. Things that are generally included in a food pantry are Peanut Butter (12-18 oz plastic jars), Jelly, Tuna, Canned Soup, Stews, Chili, Pork and Beans, Canned Fruits and Vegetables, Macaroni and Cheese, Canned Tomato Sauce/Spaghetti Sauce, Rice, Dried Pinto Beans, Pasta, Cereal, Evaporated Milk, Cooking Oil and Toilet Paper. Unbreakable containers (Cans, boxes, plastic) are best. Smaller sizes of everything is preferred especially cooking oil so more items can fit in a box. The things they most often run out of are evaporated milk, toilet paper, jelly, peanut butter, cooking oil. For those who would like to donate money please send checks payable to St. Vincent de Paul and mailed to them to: St. Joseph the Worker Church 19808 Cantlay St., Winnetka, CA 91306 Put in the Memo: In memory of Rosemary Milleman.
