

King, Sandy C. 86 of Northridge, CA. It is with profound sadness that we announce her passing on April 3, 2026. She was born on October 10, 1939, to Ong Tong and Chua Giok Suat in the Philippines. She studied at the University of Santo Tomas where she earned a degree in home economics and Chinese. She was president of her Chinese class and alumni. She moved to the United States in 1971. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Geraldine Go-Kolesar, and siblings, Chui Kian King, Hoan Eng King, Se Kiat King, and Chui Eng King,
She is survived by her daughter Gladys Go, son-in-law Mark Kolesar, granddaughter Abigail Kolesar, grandson Alex Kolesar, siblings Kim Se King, Seh Eng King, and Hian Hua King and many nephews and nieces. She lived in New York City and Pennsylvania before calling Northridge her home for 35 years.
Sandy enjoyed life and could always be seen with a wide smile on her face. She loved spending time with family and friends, making hot and sour soup for her daughters and seeing the live shows in Vegas. She had a passion for finding good food and would venture to try out every buffet, especially Chinese buffets, from NYC, PA, Vegas, and CA. She had many jobs in her lifetime from mother and grandmother to retail and bookkeeping.
She was a longtime member of Northridge United Methodist Church.
