Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, on July 30, 1939, to Adolf Holst and Jeannette Clotilde Bours. Tonny was the youngest of two siblings, Jean (sister). He moved to the Netherlands at the age of 15, where he later served in the Dutch military.
On May 11, 1962, he married his soulmate and began a beautiful life full of love and laughter. Shortly after the birth of their first daughter, Tjitske, the couple moved to California, where they welcomed the arrival of their second daughter, Gina. With very little to their names, the couple worked hard to build a wonderful life for their children and themselves in the United States.
During his leisure time, Tonny found joy in being surrounded by loved ones. He enjoyed attending car shows and tending to the needs of his beloved pets, including the numerous birds he cared for throughout his life.
He was predeceased in life by his wife Tiny Holst. He is survived by his daughters Tjitske (Scott) Kennedy, Gina (Larry) Mascari; grandchildren Shannon, Ashley, Dusty, Joey, LJ, and Sabrina; and great-grandchildren Levi, Knox, and Wilder.
In lieu of flowers, we invite you to donate to a charity of your choice in Tonny's honor.
