

She was born on Sept. 21, 1923 in Boston, MA to the late James and Christine (Catalano) Fiorillo. On Aug. 22, 1954 she married her husband Edward in Montville. He predeceased her in 2011 after 57 years of marriage.
Angela was a dancer for the U.S.O. entertaining the troops abroad and helped in choreography. She was known also for her abilities as a seamstress, beading and fine stitching. Her passion however was being a housewife and mother.
She is survived by her daughters; Andrea Mallon, Bernadine Edgley and her husband Wayne, one brother; Robert Fiorillo, one sister; Frances Tomlinson and her husband Charles, grandchildren; TJ Mallon, Brett & Diana Mallon, Ryan Edgley and Shane Edgley, great-grandchildren; Jack, Mia and Ava Mallon, and several beloved nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Angela was also predeceased by her sister; Marion Greenlee and her husband Newton, her brother; Anthony Fiorillo and his wife Delores, sister-in-law; Susan Fiorillo, and son-in-law; Paul Mallon.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 1:30pm at the Cathedral of St. Patrick in Norwich meeting directly at the church. Interment will immediately follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Norwich. There are no calling hours.
