Anita lived most of her adult life in Norwich. She had a real sense of adventure and traveled extensively on her own until she was 90 years old. The stories of her travels are legendary.
She was a deeply spiritual person who followed her own path. She had great compassion for people and animals. As a volunteer at local convalescent homes, she would visit with those who had no families.
Anita was a member of Beth Jacob Synagogue and Hadassah. She is survived by her nieces, Toby Coit Wolak, Rebecca Dela Cruz, Marne Coit, and friend, Stacy Gould.
There will be a graveside service at Hebrew Benevolent Cemetery #3 (Preston, CT) on Thursday, May 15, at 2:30 PM.
