I don't know how long Annette & John had been attending Park Church before my parents discovered that they had all been married at Warrenville Baptist Church! I do remember that it wasn't until Annette & I had served on a Search Committee that we realized we shared a Birthday. I regret that I didn't join the Bell Choir sooner so I could've enjoyed the camaraderie of these wonderful women. What a great Sense of Humor Annette had!

I got to know Annette when we both worked as academic interventionists at Veterans Memorial Elementary School in Norwich. I always admired her sunny personality and the special way that she had of working with the youngest students at the school. My thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time.

I am so deeply sorry of the passing of Annette. We worked together for many years at Stanton School and then at Veterans Memorial . We became good friends while at Stanton and continued that friendship with our shopping trips and monthly dinners with our "Stanton girls" group. I will miss her. My deepest sympathies to all her family. Sincerely, Joanne Fontaine
