Anthony "Tony" Hall

Born January 26, 1966

Norwich- Anthony (Tony) Hall, 46, of Baltic St., passed away Thursday November 1, 2012 from a rare disease at Harrington Court in Colchester.

He was born January 26, 1966 in Washington DC, the son of the late John and Joyce (Oates) Hall.

He was a 1984 graduate of Norwich Free Academy, where he was a member of the football and track teams and where he was known as “Touchdown Tony Hall/TD Hall”. He was active with “Kids Christmas” for over 15 years. He was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Old Saybrook, CT.

He loved his family, sports and was a Dallas Cowboys Fan.

He is survived by his mother/aunt Elizabeth Hall-Hurley, son Amir Bailey, daughter Arielle Bailey, brother Steve Pemberton (Patricia), sisters Joyce Mather (Ernest), Barbara Hall, Brenda Stone (Bryant Sr.), Jean Smith and Judy Bell (Jervis) and by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by brothers John Hall, Willie Jr. and Allan Pemberton, and sister Angela Hall.

Calling hours will be held at the Church and Allen Funeral Home in Norwich on Thursday evening from 5 to 7pm.

A funeral service will be held Friday at the Church and Allen Funeral Home at 11 am. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Norwich.

Memorial donations in Tony’s memory may be made to Kids Christmas, c/o Dime Bank, 290 Salem Tpke, Norwich CT 06360.
