Arnold Charles Brine

Arnold Charles Brine, 64 of Hanover, CT passed away peacefully Monday, November 23, 2015 surrounded by his loving family at Backus Hospital in Norwich CT. He was born in Norwich October 7, 1951 to the late Alfred Charles and Stella (LeBlanc) Brine. Arnold was the loving husband of Teresa (Burzycki) Brine for 35 years, and adoring father of their children Jennifer Berry and Daniel Brine. He is survived by two daughters, Bonnie and Kimberly from a previous marriage. Arnold graduated from Saint Bernard’s High School in June 1969. He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy in January 1973 with a National Defense Service medal. He was employed as a First Class Rigger at Electric Boat for 33 years and retired in 2008. He enjoyed vacations to New Hampshire, Florida, and Hawaii with his family. Arnold is also survived by his sister Stella Marie Auxier and her husband Lloyd; two brothers Allen Brine and his wife Pamela, Donald Brine and his wife Coleen, and Ronald Brine and his wife Nora. He also leaves behind his two grandchildren Avalynne and Cayden; his rays of sunshine. They will miss their “Bucka” very much. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many close friends. Arnold was predeceased by his son Justin Michael Brine. Visitation will be Friday Nov. 27, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at the Labenski Funeral Home 107 Boswell Ave. Norwich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday Nov. 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church Norwichtown. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Norwich.
