Lisbon-Charles E. Knight, age 90, of Lisbon passed away on December 19, 2010, at Regency Heights in Willimantic. He was born on January 25, 1920 in West Warwick, Rhode Island to the late Asa and Gertrude (Welch) Knight.
He was a member of the VFW as well as the American Legion.
She is survived by a son Charles Edward Knight Jr. and his wife Laura of Norwich, a daughter Judy Avery and her husband George of Lisbon, a daughter Patricia Schlough of Lisbon, a daughter Marjorie Rushford and her husband James of Vermont, and a daughter Jeanne Miller of Versailles. She also leaves behind a brother Robert Knight of Lisbon, a sister Ola Larochelle of Norwich, nine grandchildren, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
