Charles Joseph Mrowka

Oakdale – Charles J Mrowka, age 75 of Oakdale, passed away at Backus Hospital on September 8, 2024. He was born at Backus Hospital July 16,1949 to the late Lucien and Helen Mrowka. Deborah his wife of 55 years survives him.

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his son Charles Mrowka Jr., son Chad Mrowka and wife Linda, grandsons Craig and Camden, a sister Mary Ann and her husband Tom, and a brother Peter. He is predeceased by a brother Lucien.

He was the best father and husband that he knew how to be and cared deeply about his family.

He was very creative and mechanical and had many talents, tool and die maker, woodworker, carpenter, hunter and landscaper. Because of his strong will and passion he could accomplish anything he set out to do.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 752 Norwich Salem Tpke., Oakdale, CT on Saturday September 21 at 10am.
