
Christopher was born October 12, 1930 in Middletown CT, the son of the late Joseph S. and Lina (Vitanzi) Tommasi.
He married Elizabeth “Betty” (Besade) December 11, 1975 at their home in Bozrah. She survives him.
He had worked as a Truck driver for Coca-Cola.
In addition to his loving wife Betty, Christopher is survived by his children Ronald Tommasi of Danielson, Edward Brouillette of Colchester, Catherine Sullivan of Canterbury, Bruce Brouillette of Bozrah, Debra Shafer of Scotland CT and Karen Tommasi of Dunnellon FL , Christopher Tommasi of Colchester, by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his sons David Brouilette and Paul Tommasi, and by his 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Christopher was a Veteran of the United States Army and enjoyed talking about the Army every chance he could. He was the last survivor of all of his Army buddies. He was an avid woodworker and builder who designed deco podge wall plaques, clocks and sconces. He was a very generous person and a great provider. His famous saying was 5.75, which he said up until his passing. He loved laying out in the sun and working on his swimming pool. He will be sadly missed by those that knew him.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
The Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St. Norwich, is entrusted with arrangements.
