Claire Jean Nasso

Claire was born November 10, 1945 in Astoria, New York, the daughter of the late Joseph and Simone (Lassauze) Cerutti.

She married the late Frank Nasso August 4, 1966 in Hawaii. He passed away March 26, 2013.

Claire had been employed as a cafeteria manager at the Greeneville School. She loved to garden, crochet, cook and bake. She was an avid NY Yankees fan and bowler. She loved to travel cross country and take cruises. Above all, she especially loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her “fur” grandchild Rico.

Claire is survived by her son David Nasso, daughters Michelle Ann Robert and husband Normand, Yvonne Catherine Dupuis and husband Mario, grandchildren Tiffani Marie Nordgren, Travis Mikel Nordgren, Zackary Joseph Robert and by several nieces and nephews and by several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother Leo Cerutti.

Calling hours will be held at the Church and Allen Funeral Home in Norwich on Friday from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. with a funeral service being held at 5 P.M. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
