

Cynthia "Cindy" Lynn DeMarchia, 74, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026. Born in Willimantic, Connecticut, on February 21, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Beatrice (McGinnis) DeMarchi.
Cindy was devoted to her family and cherished the many relationships that enriched her life. She is survived by her brother, Donald DeMarchi; her children, Pat (Kimberly) DeMarchia, Christine Monroig, Jackie DeMarchia, Darleen (Kevin) Caisse, Joe (LoAnn) Lussier Jr., Alice Coffman, and Floyd (Crystal) Lussier; as well as many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband and the love of her life, Joseph P. Lussier Sr.
A graduate of Coventry High School, Cindy dedicated more than 40 years of service to Prysmian and General Cable, formerly known as Brand Rex/General Cable. She was known for her strong work ethic, loyalty, and commitment throughout her career.
Above all else, Cindy treasured her family. She found great joy in spending time with those she loved and had a special affection for her furry companions, Sandy and Spot. She also delighted in collecting Beanie Babies and frogs, hobbies that brought her much happiness over the years.
Cindy will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the enduring love she shared with Joe. She is now at peace, reunited with her beloved husband, her Meme, and the many family members and friends who preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, 70 West Main Street, Baltic, Connecticut. Following the Mass, a procession will proceed to St. Mary Cemetery in Baltic, where Cindy will be laid to rest.
Cindy's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
