David A Pupa

David Allen Pupa (1953-2013) David passed away Wednesday morning leaving behind 2 brothers, Gene and Bob Pupa, 2 sons, Joshua and Anthony Pupa, 2 grandsons, Daniel and Henry Pupa, and a very special friend that he dearly loved Patricia Demicco. He was a 1971 graduate of NFA here in Norwich. Upon graduation he worked for Millstone for some time, then for Henkels and McCoy construction company out of Portland Ct. He served in the Marine Corps for about two years receiving an honorable discharge. He was involved with many sports as a young man, such as weightlifting and professional Arm Wrestling where he would eventually become World Champion in his weight class, and in the 2 higher classes as well. He held a Black Belt in both Karate, and Judo winning several major events in this country. He loved reading, shooting pool, and playing chess. Those that met David commented that he was "one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet". He was an avid bible reader with a good heart but struggled to live his life the way he knew God wanted him to.
