Devon worked in the produce department at Stop and Shop and as a valet at Mohegan Sun.
He is survived by his parents Kenneth Spurr and Jennifer Jakob, a brother Logan Spurr and a sister Marissa Spurr all of Lisbon, a maternal grandmother Joan Jakob of VT., a maternal grandfather Doug Jakob of Stonington, a paternal grandmother Elizabeth Spurr of FL., Aunt Krissy and Uncle Rob Kurasz of Montville, Aunt Amy and Uncle Gideon of VT., and many cousins. He also leaves behind best friends Mike, Nick, Phil and the love of his life Andrea. Devon had a kind soul. He loved being with friends and family, but most of all loves his mother.
A memorial service will be held at the Voluntown Baptist Church, 52 Main St., Voluntown, CT on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made in Devon’s honor to the CT Humane Society, 169 Old Colchester Rd, Quaker Hill, CT 06375 or to the Center for Hospice Care, 227 Dunham St, Norwich 06360.
