Dolores, Dolores, Dolores....there are so many awesome memories of you I have tucked away...from meeting you in'93, sailing in the Caribbean (Tortola), Cruising the waters of the Caribbean (Eastern, Western, Southern), fabulous times at the club and on the "Beach Plum", long weekend trips to Block, Christmas Eves,Holiday Dinners, wine and scotch, popcorn and board games, the snowy trip to find a saw mill, ham and turkey grinders, fun rides to Mary Ann's and all the wonderful memories we made together. Your laugh was infectious and your smile unforgetable. Gracious and a friend to all...never to be forgotten. Love you my friend...will miss you. xoxoxo

To Mary and "Pops" Shaffer. I am so sorry to hear this news when my Mom called this AM. My condolences to you both and a little message of thanks as I have many memories of Mary and I growing up and it was so much fun with Mom and Dad Schaffer. I have never forgotten you and I think of you often. I still have the little chest we made with the red velvet cushioned top. I know you probably don't remember but it is something I look at every day and think of all the good times @ your house. It's been over 35 yrs and I can still remember her laugh. So long ago and she even then gave me memories I will treasure all my life.
