Born in Providence RI and worked at U.S. Finishing Co. in Greenville, RI, where he met and married his lovely wife Kathleen, until its closing. He worked at Pratt and Whitney in East Hartford CT until his retirement, and during that time they moved to Norwich CT.
Donald served in WWII in the Air Force stationed on Guam. Donald leaves behind his wife Kathleen F. Hawkins and various nieces and nephews in RI. He and his wife were members of Christ Church in Norwich for over 50 years.
