Donaldo MarcAurele

Norwich-Pete "Donaldo" MarcAurele, age 73, of Norwich embarked on his journey to our Lord at his home on October 27, 2016. He was born in Norwich on April 4, 1943 to the late Donaldo and Lois (Shaver) MarcAurele.

Pete retired after 47 years as a Nuclear Quality Control Inspector for General Dynamics and Electric Boat.

He is survived by a special daughter and caretaker Taina MarcAurele of Norwich, a son Donnie and a daughter Melissa MarcAurele both of Alaska, brothers Ronald MarcAurele and Alan Zarka, a dog Pookie and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Taina would also like to recognize his stepchildren Katri, Tonya and Vanassa. He was predeceased by special friend Maylene and Chuck.

Family and friends may visit the deceased at his residence, 134 Golden Street, Norwich around the clock starting on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m and ending on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. with the Rosary being held at 7:00 p.m. each evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Cathedral Norwich. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
