Edward Harold Hersom passed away on December, 10, 2022 at 9:42 am at Backus Hospital. He was 79 years old, born in Biddeford, Maine and graduated at Biddeford High School where he then enlisted in the US Navy. After 4 years in the Navy, Bozrah, CT became his home.
Edward is survived by his wife, Annette Maynard Hersom, in which he was the love of her life of 50 years, children Dana Hersom Fillion, Christina Hersom Fontaine and step children William Porucznik, Pamela Milot, Kimberly Porucznik and grandchildren Ashton Fontaine, Will Porucznik, Ashley Porucznik and Kelsey Porucznik.
Calling hours will be held at Church & Allen Funeral Home 136 Sachem Street Norwich from 11 AM – 12:30 PM. Immediately following the calling hours, a burial will be at the Maplewood Cemetery 184 Salem Turnpike in Norwich.
