My Dear Auntie Helen,
It is sad for me to think this is my last letter to you. I miss you so much already. Let me not forget to thank you for the many years of friendship and love you bestowed on me and my siblings. Christmas was enormous when you and Uncle Rene were around. Packages filled our living room. Aside from that you and Uncle Rene were always there with your love and help for us.
I'm sorry that Covid kept me from seeing you at the nursing home.
Although you have passed I know I will find you each time the sun shines brightly, each time the north star sheds more light, each time it snows and glitters like diamonds and each time a rainbow appears. I will know my Auntie Helen is ok and sending her love to us. So in knowing that, I look forward to all natural things you will be in. My love to you always Auntie Helen Niece Fran xxoo

She was my Aunt, Godmother, 'Nanny,' and 2nd Mother, who I will truly, truly miss. She was the Matriarch for both the Edwards Family and the Janelle Family.
When I would visit her at Colonial Health Center, I learned quickly to make sure to stay out of her way when she was operating her electric wheelchair; she would make Mario Andretti proud.
Jim, Gina, Kristen and Jimmy, please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss. Elizabeth Helen Janelle will always be a pleasant memory for me and many, many other people
