Eufemia Pillari

Eufemia (Fay) Pillari, age 95, proud Italian/American formerly of Norwich passed away on January 1 2, 2026 at Brookdale Eddy Pond West in Auburn, MA. She was born in Calabria Italy on October 25, 1930 to the late Antonio and Angela Fedele.

Fay was an accomplished seamstress working for John Meyer and also active with her church Sacred Heart Church, volunteer work and active with a variety of clubs and organizations. She will be missed and loved by family and friends.

She is survived by her sons Vincent R Pillari (Diane) of Worcester, MA, Anthony Pillari of San Diego, CA, grandchildren Vinnie (Suzanne), Dorian and Nicholas as well as 2 greatgrandchildren. She also leaves behind a brother and 2 sisters in Italy and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her husband Vincent Pillari.

Visitation will be Wednesday January 21, 2026 from 9:30-10:30 am at the Labenski Funeral Home 107 Boswell Ave. Norwich, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church Norwichtown. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Norwich.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Fay's name to Sacred Heart Church, a place she so loved.
