

Francis was born January 19, 1927 in Stratford, CT, the son of the late Leonard and Lena DelVecchio Baldino.
He served in the United States Navy and was a Veteran of World War II.
He worked as a dentist in Norwich for 45 years.
He is survived by his son Frank and wife Emmy Baldino of Bristol, daughters Patricia Souter and husband David of Rhode Island, Brenda Hancock of Scotland, Laura Hargreaves and husband Mark of Norwich; grandchildren Michael Baldino, Stephen Hancock and wife Emily, Margeaux Podaski and husband Jarrett, Michelle Hancock, Christopher Baldino, Meghan Souter, Nicole Dupuis, Alisha Baldino, Michelene Dupuis, Emma Hargreaves; great grandchildren Ryan and Michael Baldino, Gretchen and Edgar Podaski
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son James C. Baldino, grandson David Souter, sisters, Mary Ceccarelli, Ida Nolan and son in law Steve Hancock.
The family would like to thank Dr. Anca Bulgaru and her staff for all their dedicated and loving care; the staff of the Center for Hospice Care Southeastern CT and Assured Quality Homecare, LLC for providing Frank with dignity and quality during the last month of his life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, September 26, 2016, at the Cathedral of St. Patrick in Norwich at 10 am, meeting directly at the Cathedral. Burial with full military honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Norwich.
