Gisele’s volunteer spirit extended to numerous charitable roles, including prison ministry and working as a St. Vincent de Paul case worker. Most notably, she will be remembered as a devoted wife and caregiver to her late husband, Peter.
In her personal life, Gisele was highly creative, often sought by family and friends for her expertise in interior design faux finishing and renovations. She loved the outdoors, enjoying hiking and camping with her scouting troops as well as gardening. She had a special place in her heart for her dogs and shared her love with family and friends through cooking and baking, especially during the holidays. Some of her fondest times were spent in the kitchen with her grandson, baking holiday cookies for cookie swaps and family gatherings.
Gisele was predeceased by her beloved husband, Peter R. Buehler, as well as her parents, Armelde and Albert Pitre; her grandson, Jonathan L. Stewart; and her siblings, Irene Morin and Albert Robert Joseph Pitre.
