I used to sneak into his bedroom for a couple reasons, to make sure he was breathing and to wake him up so I could play with him. He used to love to tumble and jump on me. He would giggle so loudly. I remember the curly hair he had when it got longer he was so adorable. I know how you much you loved your  family, I love you little brother, I miss you so much, even when you were a nudge… I will see you in the next place. I totally didn’t expect this at all. 
Just getting over the disbelief that you are gone.

I miss you Glenn. The fact that you are not here with us will forever seem surreal.
I feel so fortunate that we were able to see eachother fairly frequently over the last several years.
You always picked me up from the airport when I would come to visit. Despite my many layovers in Bangladesh.
I would come down the escalator at the airport, and there you would be, waiting for me at Starbucks. Wearing a t-shirt and shorts in the dead of winter.
I remember when you picked me up from the airport for your mom and dad's 50th Anniversary party.  There was a torrential rainstorm and you couldn't see a foot ahead of you to drive. We pulled over at a little diner to wait for the rain to pass. We sat, had a bite to eat and talked, just the two of us. Although I cannot recall the conversation, I do recall laughing. Probably about my layover in Bangladesh.  I am so grateful for that little detour (the detour to the diner, not the detour to Bangladesh).
When your mom passed away, I remember going with you to the restaurant where you were a delivery driver, to pick up food that your boss had provided for our family.  You were greeted  by your co workers with open arms (literally), warm hellos, and love. 
When we got in the car to leave, you were so overwhelmed by the kindness. We both sat in the car and cried. You were loved.
Glenn, you were so funny without even knowing it. You never quite understood what I thought was so funny, which made you even funnier. Your humor was easy and effortless.
You were a good man.  Better than good. A family man dedicated to the welfare and happiness of his family.
We ended most of our texts and conversations with "I love you", something I will always cherish. I wish I had one more chance to tell you that I love you, and  to hear you respond with the same.  Rest peacefully, cousin.


I worked with Glenn many years ago at Thames Printing and he was always light-hearted and kind to everyone. 
The few times I've run in to him around town he always expressed his joy in his work and pride and devotion to his family.
I'm very shocked and sad to hear of his passing.

I first met Glenn at Huntington, then worked with him at Teachers for years. What a wonderful person… so kind and helpful and always talking about his family - he was so very proud of them!! I had recently bumped into him getting lotto ticket for the mega millions- so shocked and sad for this sudden loss. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. 

Glen was truly one of the nicest people you could know.  I was fortunate enough to work with him several times at NPS.  He was all about making you feel welcome and having everything you needed!!  Prayers to his family....this is a Big loss.  He will never be forgotten.



When I first started as sub custodian Glenn was so helpful and patient as I learned the routine and if I was at another school and had a question he would  walk me through it in detail.

He was always willing to help and never made me feel as if I was bothering him.  I would say thank you Sir and he would tell me, I am not Sir, that would be my father, 

My sincere condolences to Glenn's wife, children and family.   Although I have never met you, through Glenn talking about you all these years, I fell as if I do.

My deepest sympathies for this incredible loss. Glenn was the nicest man. He worked with my Mom at Thames Printing and I had the privilege of working with him at Huntington . He always greeted you with a smile and had a kind word. He was a hard worker who always had the time to lend a hand. He was very proud of his family and beamed every time he spoke of you. Glenn will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Wishing you peace and comfort at this difficult time.


There are no words to really express my sadness on the loss of Glen.  Keeping you all in my prayers. 


Anytime I spoke with Glenn he was always smiling, always happy, and most of all always willing to help. I've worked with a lot of people and not many stand out but Glenn was different, he always went out of his way to make us all feel listened to and respected. He was a great guy and my heart truly breaks over his passing. My deepest condolences to the Gordon family and everyone he was closest with, he was such a wonderful person.

My sympathies on your loss as these things are never easy and all of us at some point walk this path. Just want you to know that I worked with Glenn over three years at Global Studies and found him to be a dedicated colleague, always willing to help and ensure you had what you needed from his department. He will be missed by many!

I worked with Glen at Teachers for a few years. He brightened the day with his humor and his love of contests.  He cared so much for the students and the staff.  He was a proud father and a caring colleague. He will be deeply missed. Our condolences to you and your family.

Very sad news.  My family and I have known Glenn for many years as a neighbor. We were then reconnected when he began working at Veterans where he'd brag to me about his children.   He was so proud of them! Such a great guy!  He will absolutely be missed!

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I first met Glenn at TMMS, it was my first year as the kitchen manager, he helped me out always with out any hesitation. He talked about his wife and kids so much I felt like I knew them personally! My heart goes out to the family at this time. I can still see you with those bright shoes of every neon color on, you would always tell me to buy myself a pair and I did. You were right! The most comfortable work shoe I’ve ever worn.

Dear Gordon Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. My wife and I both had the privilege of working with Glenn at different times.  He was hard working, diligent, helpful and kind. I also coached youth sports with Glenn who never missed an opportunity to roll up his sleeves and lend a hand. The pride in his children and love for his family was evident in every conversation we had with Glenn. We will remember him fondly and send love to his family at this sad time.

Oh Glenn…what can I possibly say? You were the person that got me acclimated in the middle school world. You taught me more than anyone else in that building, and worked harder than anyone. I loved our chats about our kids and their dance, swim, high school adventures. 
To the Gordons: I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss. I’m heartbroken for you. Glenn loved you all so much. He was so very proud of you. Never missed a chance to tell everyone about you and show us pics. I really hope that brings you some comfort. You’re in my prayers.

There is not a memory of early life that does not include my third brother Glenn. He was always there..sleepovers, woobies, camping, holidays, birthdays, pool,  basement and yard adventures, He never excluded me..Then the NFA years when he protected me. I watched your soccer games and practices. You got me home safely.LH 4EVA,,Years came and went..seeing you in random bars, or grocery stores…hugs,memories or family inquiries like the years never passed. You will Always be held in that special place in the corner of my heart.. you and I know💕
