Hazel was born September 20, 1933 in Bayonne, NJ, the daughter of the late Warren and Myrtle (Spencer) Hotchkiss.
She married the late John F. Kinney on June 25, 1955. He passed away August 17, 1996.
She was a devoted wife and mother and her family was most important to her. She volunteered at Meals on Wheels, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, and also worked the polls during election time.
She is survived by her sons John Kinney and his wife Angela, Kevin Kinney and his wife Danielle, daughter Mary Kate Karkowski and her husband Stanley and by her grandchildren Jacob Karkowski, Justin and Ryan Kinney.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Gales Ferry at 11:30 am. Burial will be private for the family.
