Ian Sudimak 43yrs old of Norwich Ct, son of the late Nancy Bloor passed away May 14th at Backus hospital with family at his side.

Born in Ohio, Ian moved to CT where he attended Ledyard High School and later Three Rivers community college. He spent the last 15yrs working at Backus hospital in the emergency room.

Ian was a very intellectual person ,known for being a gentle giant ,he was a caring, thoughtful person, always there to listen or give a huge hug for anyone that needed it.

His loves in life were his family, cats and friends. He enjoyed music, reading, and watching is favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by his Aunt Arline Huckle, his cousin's Jeff, Lori, Bill, and Amy Huckle. And his two 2nd cousins Isabel and, Megan Huckle, who lovingly referred to him as "Big Guy". Also survived by two long time best friends who Ian considered to be like brothers, Ben Anderson and Christian Siedel. Also survived by his father Dennis Sudimak.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kitty Harbour, a cat rescue organization and the American Cancer society

Although I have not seen my son in many years, I will miss him dearly. My wife Tarie and sons Mark and Vincent will also feel the loss. Rest peacefully son. We are praying for you.

Although I haven't seen my cousin Ian in many years I have fond memories of us playing together at Grandma and Grandpa Sudimaks house.
