Irene C Anderson

She was born on March 22, 1918 in Johnston, RI to the late George and Catherine (Tatro) Dansereau. In 1944 she married her beloved husband Cyril H. Anderson Jr who predeceased her.

Irene was an integral member of the Ledyard Congregational Church where she sang soprano in the choir. She enjoyed birds and gardening but her greatest pleasure and love in life was for her family.

She is survived by her daughters; Joann Ballinger and her husband William, Carol Jean Anderson, two grandchildren; Christopher and Amy Ballinger, one great-grandchild; Lindsey Preston and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Irene was also predeceased by two brothers.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 17th, at 11am at the Ledyard Congregational Church, 722 Colonel Ledyard Hgwy, Ledyard, CT. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
