James Holland

James "Jimmy" Holland, 68 of Preston entered eternal life Dec 21,2024. He was born June 20,1956 in Norwich CT, the son of the late John F Holland and Ernita (Morse) Holland. He is survived by his wife Gail Holland (Dauphinais).

Jimmy worked for New London News Company and Fall River News for many years with his brother's. One of his favorite pastimes was to read and learn about history, which he had impressive knowledge of. He also loved to draw, had a green thumb and loved his plants. He took a lot of pride in his 1948 Anglia which he loved to work on and brought to car shows. He has been a member of the Dream Machines since 1989.

He also leaves behind son's Eric Holland and Jim Gervais, stepdaughter Sue Jellison (Jamie) of New London, stepson's Richard Gordon (Sarah) of Tolland and Derrick Gordon (Brandy) of Groton. Brother, Neil Holland and sister, Kathleen Baker.both of Preston, CT. Grandson's Glenn Gordon (Bree) of Virginia, Michael Gordon of Maine and Granddaughter Kayla Ortega (MIchael) of Massachusetts and great grandson Roman, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
