She was born in Lowell, MA on Oct. 19, 1921 to the late John and Georgianna (Bergeron) Dubreuil. On Jan. 22, 1937 she married Benjamin P. Kustesky in Norwich. He predeceased her.
Jeannette was a homemaker for many years until she began working as a Certified Nursing Assistant. After several years, she decided to go back to school to earn her GED, and then she completed the program and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. Jeannette worked for many years in several area nursing homes as a geriatric care provider until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time reading, crocheting, taking long drives, sending greeting cards for all kinds of reasons, and simply being with her family. Her relationship with God was of the utmost importance to her. She was our family’s prayer warrior, serving the Lord by unceasingly and fervently praying for other’s needs. We all knew that Mom had a direct line to God.
Never was there a more God-loving person worthy of a one-way ticket to the arms of Jesus. Our pain and sadness will be short knowing her’s is over forever. Greeted by our father/grandfather, Benjamin, at the pearly gate, we know they will be celebrating Christmas with Jesus.
She is survived by her sons, Benjamin John Kustesky, Stanley Kustesky and wife Marlene, Thomas Kustesky; daughters: Jeanne Schute and husband John, Elizabeth Blau, Margaret Lewis and husband Cameron, Doreen Kustesky; and one brother, Raymond Dubreuil; grandchildren, Raymond, Alan and wife Laura, Pamela Burdick, Donna Iacoi and husband Lou, Cameron D. Lewis and wife Tracy, Rebekah Emmons and husband Jarod, Gretchen Whitten and husband Brandon, Rachel Schute and Benjamin Kustesky; great-grandchildren, Frank, Heather, Amanda Burdick, Jenna Trainor, Robert and Kloe Tedford; great-great-grandchildren, Jenna and Jace Scott, and Zeiean Schute. Besides her husband, Jeannette was also predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Sheila Kustesky; brothers, Alphonse, Johnny and Leo Dubreuil, and sisters, Aurora Ryan and Georgianne Moutran.
