Jeannine Marie Blondin

Born in Norwich, CT, Jeannine spent her career working in the insurance field and devoted her life to her family. She was a loving wife to her husband, Bill, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage, and a dedicated mother to her daughters, Jeannette and Anne Marie and granddaughter Stefanie. Throughout her illness, Jeannine showed remarkable resilience and a fierce determination to regain her strength, facing each day with quiet courage. She will be remembered for her kindness, gentleness, and sweet disposition, qualities that touched all who knew her.

Jeannine is survived by her husband, William Blondin; her daughters, Jeannette Blondin of Preston, CT, and Anne Marie Blondin of Somerville, MA; her granddaughter, Stefanie Owen of Rocky Hill, CT; and her brother, Jack McClafferty, and his wife, Donna McClafferty, of Norwich, CT. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald McClafferty; her mother, Genevieve McClafferty (née Pankewicz); and her brother, Donald McClafferty Jr.

Graveside services will take place on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Maplewood Cemetery in Norwich, CT.

She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
