He was born in Manchester, CT on Feb. 19, 1953 to the late Arthur and Ruth (Rothberg) Scott. He graduated from N.F.A. in 1971 and served honorably in the US Navy on the gunship USS Wainwright until his discharge. Thereafter he worked for many years at the Mansfield Training School and Seaside helping those with mental disabilities and finally as a caregiver and Shelter Manager for the State of CT. He was kind, sincere and caring of all he met, especially those with disabilities.
He is survived by his sister Morgan Hassenmayer and her husband Tom of New Haven, CT and a niece, Tara Swanson of Minneapolis.
A private graveside service with Military Honors was held at Hebrew Benevolent Cemetery #2 in Preston, CT.
