Joseph Norman Boisvert

Boisvert- J. Norman Boisvert 81, of Norwich died Sunday June 4, 2017 at his home. He was born in Willimantic son of the late Rosaire and Gabrielle (Theriault) Boisvert. He graduated from Windham Tech as an electrician. Norman served 5 years in the United States Marines. He was employed at Thermos until its closure, then was employed for the State of Connecticut in the state hospital division, as an electrician. First, at Norwich State Hospital, and then at Ct. Valley Hospital in Middletown from where he retired. He married Doris Tubbs in 1960 who survives him. He also leaves a daughter Debra Martin and her husband Jeff of Plainfield, a grandson Gavin of Pawcatuck, and a granddaughter Natalie of Plainfield, as well as his brothers in law, Lewis and wife Una Tubbs of Florida, Robert and his wife Pat Tubbs of North Carolina, a sister in law Phyllis Tubbs of North Carolina, a niece Cori Tubbs, and nephews Rick and Butch Tubbs. Norman was predeceased by a brother in law Frederic Tubbs of North Carolina. Funeral Services will be private. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
