

She was born August 9, 1939 in Norwich, the daughter of the late Eugene and Charlotte M. (Babbit) Rainville.
She had worked for the State of CT at Norwich State Hospital and also at the University of CT.
She loved arts and crafts and designing silk flower arrangements and wreaths. She was a member of the women’s missionary church group. As a child through her teen years she peddled "raw" milk with her father. She was a member of NARFE. Above all, she was a very caring and giving woman who will be missed deeply.
She is survived by her daughters Cindy Jamilkowski and husband Alan, Kimberly Quinn and husband James, Michelle West and husband John, Judith Willard, by her brothers and sisters Charlotte LaPage, Eugene Rainville, Joseph Rainville, June Brown, Allen Rainville, Gail Tarryk and Linda Merchant, by her grandchildren Victoria, JaJai, Justin, John and Megan and by her great grandson Connor.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Charles F. Cruthers, two brothers Paul and Bill Rainville.
Calling hours will be held at the Church and Allen Funeral Home on Monday, April 29, 2013 from 5 to 8 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at St. Mary Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 34 North Main St. in Jewett City at 11 am. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
