Keith Stanley

He was born on February 17th, 1959 in Norwich, CT to the late Samuel and Emma (Kaherl) Stanley Sr. Keith worked as a laborer throughout his life until he became disabled. Through childhood and into adulthood, Keith was involved with and enjoyed doing many things. He truly enjoyed everyone as his kindness and courteous nature was known to all he met. He could play and manipulate cards in games and tricks when he wasn’t hiking, biking or fishing as he was able. He’d even try to dance with his cane with the kids at family gatherings. Keith was a good cook too and liked watching videos and playing video games with his brothers. He enjoyed poetry and was an artist himself. Listening to music was a favorite pastime, especially James Taylor and the Beachboys.

Keith is survived by his siblings; Dale K. Stanley of Norwich, Dana T. and Barbara A. Stanley of Norwich, Penny L. Stanley-Tracy and her husband Timothy Tracy of Willimantic, Melody A. (Stanley) Pishka and her husband Thomas of Canterbury, Karen Stanley-Stogden and her husband John Stogden of Ledyard, Marie A. Stanley Nocera and her husband Hans Nocera of Niantic, and Patt Stanley Conroy of Norwich, CT. He was also survived by his special aunt, Theresa K. Pearson and other numerous relatives including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace in the Kingdom of Heaven.
