

Kenneth attended St. Patrick’s School and graduated from Norwich Regional Vocational and Trade School Class of 1971. As a sheet metal mechanic he worked at various sheet metal companies, of the last at Tech Air in Uncasville (1981-2010) as a Sheet Metal Mechanic and Foreman and DC Sheet Metal in Yantic (Dec-Sept 2011) as Shop Foreman.
He is survived by his sister Helen S. Zander of Norwich, Uncles Joseph (Irene) Bellone, Howard (Jane) Miller of CA, Aunts Mrs. Vera (Domenic) Bellone of NL, Mrs Jane (Phil) Hackamack of IL, Cousins Barbara Thompson of GA., Odrien James and Family of CT &SC., and his special Godmother, Mother Mary Anthony Lemire SCMC of Baltic, Ct. He also leaves behind to mourn are other numerous relatives and friends, especially his close buddies Mike, Dave and Glenn.
His greatest passion was the outdoors, whether maintaining the yard, riding his Harley, camping throughout his life on Hopeville Pond, fishing on his boat and especially hunting.
We are dearly and deeply missing you and forever you will be in our hearts, kind soul with a big heart, never to forget you, for indeed you had one of the biggest hearts and gave it to others freely. Kenny, my brother, whose birthday we shared by month and day though 4 years apart to no longer celebrate with each other, my protector in all, I don’t know what I will do without you but until we see each other again, I’m sure when you left us you were welcomed and happily embraced with open arms and huge smiles by Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Tom, Uncle Nick, Uncle Odrien and Aunt Betty and Charlie. I love you!
Family and friends may visit Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Sts.
