She was a loving mother and friend to many. Leah was the daughter of the late Ralph and Isabelle Renshaw. She is survived by 3 children, Kimberly Missino and husband James Amado of Norwich, Marlene Bates and husband Joe Bates Sr. of MI, Richard Jorden of Norwich, 3 sisters Michele Lauzon of VT, Jane Lambertson of Maine, Cheryl Armstrong of Lisbon; 2 brothers Wesley Renshaw and Herbert Renshaw of TN; grandson Joe Nathen Bates Jr. serving in the USAF in Japan; 1 great granddaughter Marlina Marishawn Bates, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by 3 brothers and her husband Dean Clark of Norwich.
She was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary in Taftville.
Leah’s family would like to thank the numerous doctors, nurses and staff at Harrington Court for their care.
A funeral service will be held at the Church and Allen Funeral Home in Norwich on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 11 am. A calling hour will be held one hour prior from 10am to 11 am. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Norwich, with a repast to follow the burial.
