Linda R. Snarski

Linda R. Snarski passed away Wednesday Dec 31 2025 in Norwich, CT. She was preceded by her parents Raymond and Nancy (Lewis) Snarski. She is survived by her two sons Bryce Snarski-Pierce and Kyle Snarski-Pierce (and his wife Shannon Wantz), her siblings

, Sue Coffee (Snarski), Richard Snarski and John Snarski, her beloved dogs Lincoln and Sam along with many other friends.

Linda always loved spending time outside among the plants and animals. Whether she was helping Grandpa Earl with his transplanting, feeding the wildlife, or gathering natural materials for crafting, she thrived in nature. Summers were full of outdoor games, camping and activities at Gardiner Lake. Linda always enjoyed working with children and devoted her career to educating students in the Norwich Public Schools. Her special niche was teaching pre-schoolers. She was highly respected and frequently requested by many families. Many were disappointed when they learned Montville residents couldn't attend Norwich schools.

Linda had many friends and always enjoyed bringing people together. Whatever she decided to do, she was fully committed to achieving her goals.

Funeral services will be held on Monday January 12th at 11am at St. James Church in Preston followed by a burial at Maplewood Cemetery in Norwich. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the CT Humane Society.
